Cooking Measuring Tools

A good set of cooking measuring tools (cups and spoons) is a must have. They are fundamental for achieving accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in cooking and baking. I use the metals ones from Oxo as they are easy to clean and are magnetic. I have also more cheap metals ones from the dollars store.

Cooking Digital Scale

I can't stress this enough, a cooking scale is a must have. I use it a lot for my recipes and the weight is often the best way to measure your ingredients. A good scale needs to be easy to clean, in grams and go up to one decimal (0.0).I use the one from Accuweight as it fills my needs.

Cooking Thermometer

A cooking thermometer is a vital tool for safe, consistent, and high-quality cooking across a variety of foods (meats, yeasts and oils). I use the Inkbird model which, so far, has worked well.

Oil Thermometer

An oil thermometer requires high heat tolerance. I use the Starfrit Candy and Deep Fry Thermometer model which, so far, has worked well.

Dutch Oven

A versatile cookware essential ideal for slow cooking, simmering, braising, and searing. I use The Creuset 5.3L, which is pretty expensive, but will last you a lifetime if you can take good care of its enameled iron cast.

Wooden Cutting Board

A high quality wooden cutting board is a must. Plastic ones will lead to microplastic residues. Priorise one that is not made from bamboo. I use an Acadia wood board from PADERNO with the 100% Natural Mineral Oil Treatment.
