Ingredients

  • 120 g unsalted butter
  • 170 g cake flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 350 ml milk
  • 340 g frozen or fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar

The Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF and adjust the oven rack to the upper-middle position.
  2. Put 120 g unsalted butter in the small round pan and place it in the oven until butter is melted. Remove the pan from the oven and set aside.

The Mixing

  1. Whisk 170 g cake flour 200 g sugar in a medium bowl. Whisk in 350 ml milk until a smooth batter forms.
  2. Pour batter into the prepared pan with melted butter. Scatter 340 g frozen or fresh berries over batter and sprinkle 1 Tbsp. sugar evenly on top.

  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until the top is lightly browned and fruit bubbles,
